Remove the rear passenger side cargo panel. It is best to remove the rear seat floor cover, this will help remove the panel.

The speaker must be removed from the box to install the box. Locate the lower mounting hole. This is the hole for the OEM B&O sub-box. Inset the M8 long bolt, with a fender washer, into the slotted hole. Make sure to move the bolt as far to the rear as you can in the slot. Take the custom nut and tighten it to the bolt.

THE CUSTOM NUT AND BOLT NEEDS TO BE VERY TIGHT!!!

On the back of the box, there is a hole. Place the box into the location and the M8 bolt with insert into the rear hole. Take the second fender washer and place it on the protruding bolt (inside the box), then the nut. Tighten it down.

NOTE: This OEM tab with the slot is flimsy.

Mount the upper metal bracket to the top of the box with 2 M6 screws in the slotted holes. Secure the bracket to the body in the upper hole shown in the image above, using the provided M8 bolt*. Make sure all screws are tight.

*NOTE: This is also the bolt location for the soft top bracket system.

Before installing the speaker, you will need to wire it to the speaker to the speaker port at the end of the box.

You will also need to insert some Polyfill inside the box. This helps slow down the air movement. You can buy it at almost any craft store. Fill the entire box about 90% with LOOSELY packed Polyfill.

Install the speaker with the provided M4 screws. Do not use power tools!

Install the amp to the top of the box with the provided M4 screws. The Power input end of the amp should be to the rear of the Bronco.

If you are using the remote amp control, you will need to make sure the wire is inserted fully into the amp. You will feel a small “click”.

You will need to adjust the amp set to your own preference. Below is a good starting point.

NOTE: TOO MUCH POWER CAN/WILL DESTROY THE SPEAKER!

To install the grill on the panel, you will need to remove the storage pocket from the back side of the panel. We recommend using a Forstner drill bit. Usually used for woodworking. You will drill out the melted plastic studs. DRILL SLOWLY! You just need to remove the melted blob, so the pocket is released.

Apply 3M double-sided tape to the edge of the grill insert. Install the insert from the back side of the panel, through the opening where the pocket was.
