HARDWARE INSTALLATION:

Remove or fold the factory Soft Top back completely.

Install one plastic Bungee Anchor in the location with the RED ARROW, on the top of the driver’s and passengers’ side of the roll bar. If that spot has a factory-installed bolt in that location, reuse the factory one. If there is no bolt, use our provided M8 bolt.

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE M8 BOLT
ALL ANCHOR POINTS ARE THE SAME EVEN IF YOU HAVE PREINSTALLED HARDTOP HARDWARE.

Using one of each “Bungee Anchor Well Nut”, insert one into each hole shown below with ORANGE ARROW and tighten until snug.

You will need to hold the plastic anchor body with your hand, while you tighten the bolt. The rubber will expand in the hole to keep it in place.

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE M8 WELL NUT BOLT

Using the T50 Torx bit, remove the bolt for the soft top latch shown above with YELLOW ARROW.

Using one plastic “Bungee Anchor”, replace the bolt with the anchor under it. Repeat for the other side.

The BLACK ARROW is there the 8″ long Bungee is attached. Place bungee through the last grommet hole and wrap around the roll bar, back to the bungee ball.

MESH INSTALALTION

STEP 1:

Starting in the front corner, take a Dual Bungee and feed both loops up through the grommet hole.

Take the small loop and attach it to the bungee anchor on the soft top latch mount. Take the loop with the clip and wrap it around the outside of the roll cage and hook the clip to the large hole in the side of the roll cage. See the Photo Below.

SETP 2:

Working your way down both sides repeat the last step.

OEM HardTop plate may have a sharp edge.

This may lead to cutting into the bungee cord.

Please remove the plate or add some corner protections to the edge, so as not to cut the bungee.

Automotive door edge protection works well.

STEP 3:

At the rear, take one “Nylon Strap” and pass the open end through UP THOUGH the grommet holes in the rear of the mesh,

Clip the metal “J” clip, on the end of the strap, to the back of the edge of the roll cage cross member. See photo.

Feed the open end of the strap through the Tri-Glide buckle on the strap.

Pull the open end of the strap snug while sliding the tri-glide buckle.

Repeat for the other two at the rear of the mesh.

STEP 4:

In the rear outside corner of the mesh; use the large bungee ball cord and place it through the grommet then around the roll bar then back and loop it over the ball. BLACK ARROW

STEP 5:

In the front center, attach the snap hooks to the Hard Top locks as shown below

INSTALLING TWIST-LOCK PLATES:

-Remove front panels, placing them upside down on a bench or ground

-Remove twist-lock from the panel with your Bronco OEM tool kit.

-Please plate over the twist-lock (clamp it in place) and drill two 4mm (3/16″) holes through the holes in the plate

-Install the OEM handle bolt and barrel into the handle, then install provided M4 nut and bolt through the plate into the handle. The OEM bolt will now be captured inside the handle now

-Reinstall both of the twist-locks into the panel

Operation:

The remaining twist locks and latches will be accessible from the edge of the mesh.
