Attach the non-turnbuckle end of the cable to the Upper Mount on the windshield.

Attach the turnbuckle end of the cable to the Moving Plate *Part B*.

With slack in the cable and the turnbuckle extended, place the Movince plate over the shoulder bolts. Insert Latch Pin into the hole. As seen below.

With the Latch Pin installed, twist the barrel of the turnbuckle to add tension to the cable. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!

THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE GUITAR STRING TIGHT

Once you are happy with the tension, hold the barrel and use a wrench to lock down the nuts on the turnbuckle. One of left-hand thread and the other is the right-hand thread.

Opperation:

Disconnect the cable:

Pull the Latch Pin and rotate the Moving Plate *Part B* towards the rear of the truck.

Reconnection:

Place the rear Moving Plate Saddle over the rear shoulder bolt.

Insert a 1/4″ drive ratchet into the square hole.

Use the ratchet to rotate the Moving Plate downward, till the front saddle is over the front shoulder bolt AND the latch pin hole lines up from PART A to PART B.
